The GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland Campaign is the UK’s international communications programme. It enhances the UK’s global reputation and drives economic growth by encouraging an international audience to visit, study, trade, invest, live and work in the UK.

Case studies

GREAT FUTURES, Ryiadh

Saudi Arabia is investing $3 trillion in Vision 2030 to transform its economy and society. In May 2024, GREAT launched GREAT FUTURES in Riyadh to position the UK as a key partner for trade, investment and tourism. The programme featured business and cultural events, including performances and talks by Thomas Heatherwick CBE, YolanDa Brown OBE DL and Steven Gerrard MBE. GREAT’s network provided significant support through value-in-kind and sponsorship, including from HSBC, British Airways and Diageo.

Premier League

Broadcast to billions of people in 190+ countries, the Premier League is one of the UK’s most iconic brands. GREAT has worked with the Premier League across the globe, delivering live screening events for VIP and consumer audiences, delivering community programmes for children and disadvantaged groups, and collaborating on digital campaigns to reach new audiences.

British Airways

GREAT, VisitBritain and British Airways have worked together for over 10 years. Naturally sharing an interest in promoting the UK to the world and driving inbound passengers, this partnership has ranged from joint social and digital-led marketing campaigns, to consumer activations and even co-branded planes, helping to drive tourists, students and business passengers to the UK.
